Operation One Voice

Quite a crowd gathered for the first ever Operation One Voice caravan.  There were over 60 Corvettes that collected at Jeffrey's in Alpharetta.

From mid-years to C6's, most of the Corvette generations were represented at the event.

There were over 3 miles of Corvettes stretched as far back as the eye could see.  What a beautiful sight!!

We took over the Pilot Truck Stop in Newnan.

Lookout Trucks!  The Corvettes are here!

Welcome to Fort Benning, GA.

We made our way through the Officers golf course and on to the Infantry Museum.

American flags were quite abundant as the 112 Corvettes made their way to a parking space.

Cheryl and Barry Tomlinson discuss the trip and the box lunch provided by Atlanta Bread Company.

The shade was a commodity as it was well over 100 degrees with the heat index.

The National Infantry Museum was 3 floors of history of the post and the Army Rangers.

A large display of anti-aircraft and howitzers were readily accessible for the visitors to touch and view.

An old Quartermaster Corps train was also on display.

One of many monuments to the 3rd Army and the sacrifices made over the different wars.

Another great monument to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

The Army Rangers were very well represented with the different monuments to those who have gone before.

Even the Dachshund was honored as a mascot for the 551st Infantry Battalion.
